Bottega Veneta: Building Brand Equity 2022- 2032
This project provides a strategic framework to build brand equity for Bottega Veneta, one of Kering’s top portfolio earners. As of 2022, 75% of Kering’s portfolio relies on the sales of leather goods. Current social movements towards cruelty-free and sustainability intiatives leave exposure for future revenues, should leather follow the fateful path of fur products. How can Bottega, beloved for its rich heritage in craft leathers, continue to build equity while moving away from its single product hero model? By exploring the brand’s history and analyzing industry futures, a solution is proposed for the brand to find its way in an evolving consumer landscape.
